The EmeTerm device is indicated for the treatment of nausea and vomiting in patients 6 years of age or older. It is contraindicated for patients suffering from acute inflammation, hemorrhagic tendency, arrhythmia, epilepsy, or those with metal pieces or cardiac pacemakers within their bodies, as well as those with recent craniocerebral or maxillo-facial injury, or conditions like brain tumor, meningitis, or acute cerebrovascular stroke.
